Training by Morando-Rieter at CREATON AG - Wertingen
Increasing attention has been paid in the last years to the training of personnel who are always requested more precision in their professional challenges.
On the other hand, it is important for the company to have highly qualified personnel. A proper training offers advantages for both employer and employee. In the field of maintenance, the purpose of training is to reach a more efficient control of machines and production processes, allowing to optimize the use of available tools.
Last year, we were contacted by CREATON AG, based in Wertingen, to arrange a training course on our 4-mould roof tile press DR6/IV, which has been operating since 1999, and is running at 16 strokes per minute.
Such training, divided into theoretical and practical sessions, took place in March and was provided to 10 attendees of the electrical and mechanical maintenance sector, as well as to a few apprentices.
The theoretical part, led by our experts Klaus Meßmer for the mechanical part and Josef Huber for the electrical one, was developed with the explanation of working instructions such as maintenance procedures, spare parts supply, nomenclatures, organization of Morando-Rieter service, as well as detailed specifications of the DR6 / IV press.
The presentation of the press itself and its main groups has been illustrated by some general drawings, transferring thus detailed information about the pressing technology, the operating mechanism and the adjustment system of upper moulds.
On a practical level, participants for the mechanical maintenance trained on activities such as adjustment of Maltese cross, compressor and drum; The stopping times for mould changes were used to explain every aspect of the take-up system and the relevant handling one.
As regards the electrical part, the personnel was trained on the HNC 100 axis card which manages the hydraulic movement of the take-up system, and on the functional interfaces between the card itself and the CPU SIEMENS S7.
Making our experts fully available for a long time has been an excellent opportunity for all attendees; They could question them, clarify some operational aspects and satisfy all their desires for knowledge.
